Rules
• A team shall consist of 4 players.
• The players must play in ranked order 1 plays 1, 2 plays 2, 3 plays 3 and 4
plays 4.
• This order may not be changed and shall remain the same for the whole day.
One reserve may be used, and may only play in the position of the substituted
player.
• All players must be in PS education.
• In the event of a player not appearing for play, that match will be forfeited by
that player’s team.
• A fixture consists of 4 singles matches
• Matches will be decided on the basis of the best of 3 or 5 games, each to 11
points. If the score is level at 10 points all, the game must be won by 2 clear points.
• Teams will be assigned to a particular table or tables at the discretion of the
Tournament Referee.
• Teams will play in a round robin and, as appropriate, progress to knock-out.
•Please note that a player can only play for one team.
A plate competition may be run at the discretion of the Tournament Referee
