Table Tennis Ulster are hosting a Coach Development Clinic led by Colum Slevin, one of Ireland’s greatest ever players. Colum has represented Ireland at multiple World and European events and played for many years in the German professional table tennis league, achieving a world ranking of 90. His coaches included Stellan Bengtsson (former Swedish World Champion).
Colum brings a wealth of experience in high‑performance training and coaching and is also a qualified physiotherapist, practising in Dublin.
The clinic will focus on physical and mental preparation for table tennis. Coaches will have the opportunity to learn how Colum approached his match preparation and benefit from his professional physiotherapy insight.
Coaches will also be able to engage with Colum informally during lunch provided by Table Tennis Ulster.
In the afternoon (2.00pm–5.00pm), Colum will lead the TTU squads in a training session; coaches are invited to stay on, observe, and support this session.
This opportunity is open to coaches free of charge, and lunch will be provided.
